Start made on the fixing of the outer wales
The fitting of the deck beams has continued and is now almost complete at the after end. Many more lengths of outer planking have been steamed into place and the shipwrigths have now reached the chine level. Work has continued in the area of the forward breasthook and new steelwork has been prepared to extend the keelson section into this bow area. Work will start this month on the fitting of the stem post.
