Paul Brown would like to thank the Cambria Trust for help in producing his book 'Britain's Historic Ships'. The Cambria makes the list of the top 50 British historic ships! It has now been
published by Conway, and is available from Amazon and other usual sources, RRP £20.
"The Racing Horlocks" by Ron Weyda with Bob Horlock is based on the racing success of the Horlock family of Mistley from 1868 -1971; in particular the experiences of Chubb Horlock . Ron Weyda has cleverly interwoven his research into barge racing history with Chubb’s ideas on design ,gear and tactics ,as well as his memories of the races he sailed in.
Combined with this are contemporary race reports and photographs of the most important and exciting races.
